Post- Black Flag, Rollins had his sights set on something bigger and better. “We worked very hard and played (shows) all the time. “The Black Flag days were very intense,” he said.
The early origins of Black Flag were rough compared to his days in his own Rollins Band, according to Rollins. The band disbanded in 1986, and Rollins went on to record and release solo records while also forming the Rollins Band the following year. The band’s live shows were riddled with violence and aggression, with a lot of them getting shut down by police or interrupted by belligerent skinheads.
